I redesigned a website to improve usability for a Korean travel agency.
Summary
With an increasing number of South Korean tourists traveling to Canada, we launched a responsible website to address the shortcomings of existing ones. Additionally, we introduced a new loyalty system, expecting that this redesigned website, showcasing improved usability and reflecting our company philosophy, will attract more new customers.

Requirements
The main requests from the Parantours Inc. were as follows.
- For main page
Include a headline introducing the company at the top.
As a travel agency website, the images should be large and refreshing.
The use of social media stands out.
Mouse-over effects are lively and engaging.
Place the travel-related information section.
- For product detail page
The company's philosophy and ideals are fully revealed
Travel reviews aree clearly visible.
Add a live chat feature for real-time inquiries.
- For customer service page
Utilize a gallery-style board format that captures attention effectively.
Place contact information such as phone number, email, and business hours visibly.
User Research
I conducted Google Analytics, Google Ads, and SEO analysis to understand our main audience and evaluate the competitive landscape. Additionally, I performed detailed customer surveys to gain insights into actual customer flows.
Using this information, I defined user personas and structured and designed the website.

Wireframing
I wireframed and designed the layout for the four key pages of the website. Each page was carefully planned to ensure optimal user experience and functionality. The wireframes provided a structural framework, while the layout designs focused on visual aesthetics and usability. The resulting designs are intended to effectively communicate the website's content and engage visitors.
Sitemaps
I established a procedure for the user flows across all pages, including booking systems, payment, login, board, product details, and my account. Collaborated closely with our developer to design the task process of ERP, thoroughly examining each module for optimal functionality and user experience.
Solution
Continuously iterating and collaborating with the developer, I engaged in thorough testing with company employees and solicited feedback through surveys. By incorporating insights gathered from these processes, the website was refined and ultimately completed to meet user needs effectively.
Reflection
In my role as a UI/UX designer, I navigated the intricacies of crafting designs for responsive websites with careful consideration, leveraging creativity and adaptability to overcome challenges. Ensuring optimal user readability amidst elements requiring text overlay on images was a key focus of my process. Despite these complexities, I embraced the opportunity to refine my skills in creating seamless user experiences.
Additionally, my proficiency extended beyond design to encompass SEO work. By analyzing advertising keywords on Google and Naver (Korea's largest browser), I successfully completed SEO tasks, further enhancing the overall effectiveness of the projects I undertook.
